about the minted supply
MINTED SUPPLY is a new cultural currency, made up of limited-production art objects and garments, created and embedded with value by the creators at COPPERMINTED STUDIOS, INC. Through the production of the MINTED SUPPLY, we seek to question “value” as a social construct and empower individuals to decide for themselves what is valuable.
With the MINTED SUPPLY, I do not want to produce hype; I want to create value. Should hype be a result of the inherent value I give to my creations, so be it, but hype is not the goal. By designing, hand-printing, and making my own garments and artwork, I embed them with inherent value derived from my ideas and efforts, and I want that to be what people pay for.

first and foremost, we do not sacrifice quality. our garments are built to be loved and worn.
the majority of our blanks come from the Comfort Colors brand, which originally began producing and dyeing t-shirts in Massachusetts and pays homage to our home state. Comfort Colors is also known for their commitment to sustainability.
in an effort to be even more sustainable and produce truly unique pieces, we source the majority of our blanks from reserves of deadstock colors and mis-dyed shirts.
our bags are produced from decommissioned distribution bags from the U.S. Mint.

all of our screen-printed garments are printed by hand in-house. no two of our shirts are exactly alike, and no print is perfect.
the label stitched onto each garment is stamped with a unique number, which represents the style code and the piece’s number in the production line for that particular collection

the fact we all must face is that we cannot do everything ourselves. business innovations may be spurned by competition, but collaboration is what makes things happen.
when production requires a special techniques or treatments that cannot be completed in house, we outsource to local small businesses and artists. these local businesses are mentioned in the product description.

for better or for worse, perfection is impossible. there is no way for any company to completely eradicate their footprint.
we believe that our purpose justifies our existence, but we also recognize that everything we do has a carbon footprint and an effect on people. whenever possible, we look to improve sourcing and production methods to make the world a better place.
the origin of our name
